Formed in Peterborough, Ontario in 1995, Thousand Foot Krutch is a Christian rock band that has been labeled as nu-metal, rap metal, and hard rock. The current lineup consists of vocalist/guitarist Trevor McNevan, bassist Joel Bruyere, and drummer Steve Augustine.

After achieving some success with their first three albums Shutterbug and That’s What People Do, Thousand Foot Krutch began to tour with names like Sum 41, Finger Eleven, Treble Charger, and Mathew Good Band.

The band has nine albums to date and has been nominated for many awards including Gospel Music Association of Canada Covenant Awards, GMA Dove Awards, Juno Awards, and Shai awards. In addition to this they won Taco Bell’s “Feed the Beat” competition in 2008. The band sold over half a million albums as of October 2007.
