Thought Last Year Was Bad? Expect Higher Amount of Ticks This Year

Man, do I hate being the bearer of bad news, but, spring is pretty much her and that means we have to start thinking about this.

Sure, we just got a little bit of snow yesterday but it's Spring in the Capital Region. Warm weather is coming and is about ready to stay. That means soon enough we all need to be on the lookout yet again for ticks.

According to News 10 and the National Pest Management Association, in New York ticks are on the rise.

This is just not cool. I already was nervous anytime I cut the grass in my yard last year due to the tick scares you would hear about. This most certainly isn't making it easier.

I am sure you already know some of the basic preventative measures to take should you be outside. News 10 has a fantastic list though, well worth checking out as a refresher.
