As someone, like many in the Capital Region, who has a 30 plus minute commute to and from work every day, there are a lot of roads that flat out anger me.

Now, I am going to leave it up to you to decide which of these roadways will take the infamous distinction as being the worst in the area. Let's talk about a few of them.

First off, The Northway sucks. That is one that I have to travel on each and every day. Like many, even if you try to avoid it you will be caught up in a lot of traffic. Route 9? Forget it. Not only does it take longer, but during rush hour it is backed up just as bad if not worse.

I-90. Let the bottleneck effect really throw you for a loop. If you are lucky enough to not have to get on 787 on one side then you may not hate this roadway as much. On the other end, getting either one to the tolls or two onto the Northway during rush hour is just horrible.

Central Ave. This is a road that is full of people just trying their best to get into a certain lane as quick as they can. I am someone who will take my time to get into the other lane if needed. However, most people will just cut you off on Central. Plus all of the stop lights that are never green suck too.

Hoosick Street, the road that cuts up the middle of Troy no matter the time of day is a nightmare. If you are going up, you will hit every stop light. If you are going down it will almost feel like you are going to get in an accident due to the sheer amount of traffic and speed going downhill. I hate driving on Hoosick street. Especially past Walgreens where it turns into one lane. That is stupid.

I am sure there are plenty more you absolutely despise. If you don't think it's one of these enter your own answer and take the poll below.
