The World With No Internet

Yesterday there was no internet connection at the station, although I still got to listen to The Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show, I still had a case of the Mondays.

If it were not for my phone it would of been a sad, lonely day, and it was for the most part. I sat in the Q103 studio and listened to the commotion out in the hallways of all the others at the station. With no internet connection, people were forced to communicate, when they were not looking at their phones.

I sat in the Q103 studio and wondered what they would do without their phones, I dared to wonder about what life would be like without the internet.

Annoying acronyms and selfies would not exist, describing your selfie with an annoying acronym would not even be a thing. Americans may be mistaken for intelligent people, and not a bunch of narcissists who are too lazy to learn how to speck their own language.

There would be no Sexting or Cyber bullying, and this is kind of depressing, because it kind of proves that we are raising cowards in America. Back in my day you did not flirt or bully people from the safety behind a screen, you did it face-to-face and were forced to learn about consequence and humiliation in real-time.

We would have to go to the 'video store' to rent movies, and the 'dirty video store' for porn. Now that I think about it, 'dirty video stores' still exist. Does anyone else find it disturbing that the people who want to watch movies are divided, but the people who want to watch porn still have a place to gather?

That reminds me, there would be no dating sites, if people want to have a significant other they would actually have to go out in public to find one. Isn't that terrifying? It would be like having to take a selfie over and over again, and no one can take a selfie from a downward angle.

There would be no spoilers, or viral videos, if you want to let people know about that cute thing your cat, dog or baby did, you would actually have to describe it to another person.

It would make Grandpa and Grandma happy, because their Grandchildren would be forced to pay attention to them, and wish that something like the internet existed.

No internet would not effect Gamers, because before the internet, they had arcades and there are always LAN parties, but the best part is that nothing really effects the Gamers, they will all always look the same and smell the same.

I know that there are allot of good things to come from the internet, and the more that I think of a world without the internet, I relies what the problem is.
