Halloween is almost here, so where in New York are you most likely to have a spine-tingling encounter with vengeful spirits?

The woods in Upstate New York are home to some seriously spooky things, including one object known as the Catskills Crone.

As found on the "518 Online Garage Sale" Facebook group, these antique dolls would make a great addition to anyone's collection of very cursed stuff.

Legend has it that the Headless Angel bleeds from the neck at night, the voices and footsteps of children can be heard in the bushes and the crumbling mausoleum has a weird green glow and the crypts all went empty one day back in the 20's or 30's.

Ready to get your spook on? Apparently one of the best haunted hotels is located not far from the Capital Region.  The Sagamore Resort on Lake George was chosen as one of the best haunted hotels according to the Times Union.  Obviously this caught my eye as a lover of everything spooky and occult...

Well, if this isn't fitting for Halloween, I don't know what is. In true Halloween fashion, according to the Miami Herald, a skull shaped asteroid is supposed to fly by the Earth after the holiday.  I mean, this may be the 90s movie fan in me, or the rock girl, but I feel like this is something that's deserving of a post-apocalyptic style Halloween party...
