Primus frontman Les Claypool is sad to report that his nephew Matthew has passed away after struggling with Infant's leukemia for the past two years. The bassist-singer brought Matthew's struggle to light last year when auctioning off one of his basses to raise funds to help offset his brother's family's mounting medical costs.
3D films are all the rage these days, but who’s to say that special effects can only be used in movies? San Francisco-based group Primus recently unveiled plans for their upcoming 3D tour in late 2012 — the first tour of this kind since Kiss‘ Psycho Circus Tour back in 1998.
California rock trio Primus released their seventh studio album last September, and in support of Green Naugahyde, the band will be embarking on a spring/summer tour, which kicks off this Friday and runs through the majority of June. Both Europe and North America will be the tour's setting.
