Creed are currently making their way across the country on a very special anniversary tour. They set out on a retrospective trek to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their debut disc ‘My Own Prison.’ However, what started out as a handful of dates in a few select cities dubbed the ‘2 Nights Live’ tour has turned into a full blown tour for the band.

Q103 presents Trapt at Northern Lights with locals Frank Palangi and The Lost Sons, plus special guests Candlelight Red, Friday April 20th at 7pm. Friday afternoon, both Candlelight Red and Trapt will be stopping by the Q103 studios for an on-air interview and acoustic performance.

My day started off great today, as I woke up to a text from my father, another loyal fan, saying that the Coop-man would be on Jay Leno late tonight and to make sure I watched. Now, I'm letting the rest of you crazy Coop lovers in on the secret as well!

American Idol contestant James Durbin has brought heavy metal to American Idol this season and it wasn't more apparent than last night when he was joined on the stage by Judas Priest.

Alter Bridge is on top of the world right now and the latest place they stopped by was Jimmy Kimmel Live. They performed "Isolation" off of their massive hit album AB III.  Alter Bridge is one of those bands that sounds so good live, and they once again hit it out of the park.  Just another reason for you to want to go to their show may 18 at Northern Lights!

If you weren't already aware, I am a HUGE fan of Craig Owens' new band D.R.U.G.S (Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows). Whenever there's news on them, I post it. If you haven't yet heard their new, self-titled debut album, go get it now! Here is a video of an acoustic performance of their song "Graveyard Dancing."

The Foo Fighters are getting set to promote their brand new album so they will taking the Saturday Night Live stage to promote it.

Soundgarden front man Chris Cornell played a short acoustic set at the Belmont Hotel in Austin, Texas this past Saturday night.  It was a bit of a warm up for the solo tour he has coming up at the end of the month.  Lucky for us one concert goer had his camera ready and got the first song on tape before security found them.

Last nights musical guest on Saturday Night Live was Linkin Park and they blew me away with their performance.

Now it looks like these guys are playing to a high school prom, but the whole band agrees that this guy sucks.
