Stewart's 2016 Holiday Match program has raised a record number of funds this year for local children's organizations.

According to stewartsshops.com, the Holiday Match program has been supporting local children's charities for over 30 years now, and has set a record for the third consecutive year. This year, customers donated over $926,000 to the program (about a $56,000 increase from last year) during the time from Thanksgiving Day until Christmas Day. This brings the grand total to over $1.85 million dollars. Stewart's matches each individual donation penny for penny, with 100% of the funds benefitting local, non-profit children's organizations. "We are impressed by our customer's generosity season after season. They have joined us in supporting local children's charities for 30 years now, raising more than $24 million. We are giving back to our communities that have given so much to us", said Stewart's President Gary Drake.

I've done a lot of work with Stewart's over the years through radio, and the staff is always great. One summer we did a promotion where we gave away four Incredible Summer Prize Packs which included a mountain bike, a fridge full of mountain dew, and 500 bucks from Stewart’s. The place was packed and everyone had a great time. I always hit up Stewart's near my home for random necessities. I think they are great, and I think Stewart's Holiday Match is such an amazing program. We wish Stewart's much success with it in 2017.
