Seattle, Washington quartet Soundgarden are heading outon their first U.S. tour in 14 years. They did appear at last summer's Lollapalooza concert in Chicago, but they have not toured the entire U.S. in over a decade. Will they make a stop in the Capital District?

Soundgarden will be joined by The Mars Volta, and the tour begins on July 2, and will last through July 30. Only four dates have been confirmed so far, but the band will keep their fans informed and updated as more dates are announced. Pre-sale tickets and packages are available.

Prior to the tour, frontman Chris Cornell will doing a solo run in May.
