SOAD’s Serj To Perform On Leno

System of a Down front man Serj Tankian will be on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno this Thursday night.

System of a Down as been seemingly absent from the rock music scene for a few years now, but front man Serj has been hard at work doing his own thing in the mean time.  On March 1 he released  his Imperfect Remixes EP, just a short album featuring his latest single "Goodbye-Gate 21" which has guest guitarist Tom Morello from Rage Against The Machine on the track.  It is a pretty good tune too.  Not as hard as Serj's usual stuff but a very melodic song.  I have heard a lot of people say they don't like his voice, but I love it.  I think he one of the most unique voices in today's rock music.

He has also been busy composing music for a rock musical called Prometheus Bound based on the classic Greek tragedy.  Needless to say Serj has not been taking it easy.  You can catch him no doubt performing his new single this Thursday night on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
