Considering how popular craft beer is here in Upstate New York, this should come as no surprise. According to a new study, Americans spend over $350 a year on just beer.

But that's not the highest either!

Australians drop $747 a person a year on beer. Keep in mind they spend usually $4.45 a beer. That averaged out to 304 beers consumed per person in a year.

This was all a result of a study that shows the countries that consume the most beer also spend the most.

The U.S. doesn't rank in the top 10. In fact we're number 14 spending $356 a year on beer and consuming 217 beers a person.

Bud Light was the king in the U.S. while Budweiser, Corona Extra and Heineken were the big hits internationally.
