With the snow beginning to fall and colder temperatures looking like they are here to stay its about time to break out those skis and boards and hit up the slopes! If you are a fan of winter sports and would like to ski free for a day well then you might want to get into the holiday spirit this weekend.

This weekend Whiteface Mountain is doing a bit of celebrating (and giving back) with Santa's Ski Free Day on Sunday, December 11! All you have to do is come dressed as Mr. or Mrs. Claus, show up before 10 a.m., participate in a group pic, and a free lift ticket is yours!

If dressing as Santa isn't really your thing but you would like to save yourself some cash and give back at the same time the TU says:

Those who don't dress up can donate a gently used winter coat or a new toy (valued over $10) to receive 50 percent off a lift ticket for the day.

So really it's a win win all around! You save some money and have some fun and contribute to those in need this holiday season! Plus it just looks like it's going to be a blast! For more info on Santa's Ski Free Day you can click HERE.
