If 'Fast and Furious 6' doesn't satisfy your need for speed, there's another high-octane racing film on its way this year - the Formula 1 set pic 'Rush' starring 'Thor' himself, Chris Hemsworth. While it may not have as much action as 'Fast and Furious,' it looks like it's trying to offer something up a little more dramatic. Is it successful? Let's watch the 'Rush' trailer and find out.

We've seen Chris Hemsworth bring the hammer down in 'Thor' and 'The Avengers' but with 'Rush' we'll really see his first big dramatic role. The film is from director Ron Howard ('Apollo 13' and 'A Beautiful Mind') and goes a little something like this:

Set against the sexy and glamorous golden age of Formula 1 racing, Rush portrays the exhilarating true story of two of the greatest rivals the world has ever witnessed—handsome English playboy Hunt and his methodical, brilliant opponent, Lauda. Taking us into their personal lives on and off the track, Rush follows the two drivers as they push themselves to the breaking point of physical and psychological endurance, where there is no shortcut to victory and no margin for error. If you make one mistake, you die.

The movie seemingly has it all: high-speed races, beautiful women, just as beautiful men, high stakes, drama...all things that make for a great movie - so why does the 'Rush' trailer feel so generic? Howard's last two films were the increasingly disappointing 'Angels & Demons' and 'The Dilemma' so let's hope this isn't a continuation of that downward slide.

The film hits theaters on September 20 and you can watch the 'Rush' trailer below (or click here to watch in HD).
