Rob Lowe’s Peyton Manning Tweets Cause Controversy

When you think of football expert one of the first people that comes to mind is actor Rob Lowe.  Wait, he isn't?  Well apparently he thinks that he is because he told everyone yesterday that Peyton Manning would be officially retiring.

A question that has been floating around the sports world this season is whether or not Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning would be hanging it up after having a big neck surgery.  That question may have been answered by Rob Lowe yesterday as he decided to take to twitter to break the news.  Immediately all hell broke loose.

Lowe claims that his people gave him the information, and he also happens to be good friends with Colts owner Jim Irsay.  Perhaps his information has some backing.  Either way he caused Colts fans to go crazy and Peyton's father Archie Manning says that Peyton isn't retiring.

No word from the Manning camp on this issue, and the Colts wouldn't comment.  To me, that could be the big truth.  No one around Manning (besides his father) is saying this isn't true.  Watch out sports world, because Rob Lowe could be right.
