Earlier today (June 21), Red Hot Chili Peppers vocalist Anthony Kiedis got into a brawl with two security guards outside the Four Seasons hotel in Philadelphia. Even more interesting, it wasn't even hotel security that Kiedis had the confrontation with -- they were apparently bodyguards for the Rolling Stones, who were also staying in the same hotel.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are scheduled to headline Day One of the Firefly Music Festival tonight. Firefly is being held in Delaware, not too far away from Philadelphia where the brief altercation occurred. According to TMZ, the Rolling Stones were about to make their exit from the hotel as Anthony Kiedis and a lady friend of his strolled by to enter the hotel. One of the guards refused the duo entry to the Four Seasons, blocking Kiedis and the woman by standing in front of their path. Kiedis pushed the guard, which incited a shoving match between himself, the guard and yet another guard who grabbed Kiedis by the head.

The footage is a bit shaky, but Kiedis can be seen and heard screaming out, "I live here!" as one bodyguard fell to the ground. Police calmly converged onto the scene almost immediately, as did some dude in a white shirt and black hat who was shoved into a baggage cart by security. After Kiedis and the guard who blocked him made peace, Kiedis reportedly told TMZ, "I love the Rolling Stones."

A rep for the Four Seasons hotel in Philadelphia denies that the security personnel do not work for the hotel, but according to TMZ, a source close to the Rolling Stones also claims the guards were not part of the band's security team, but could have been hired as extra protection for the band's time in Philly.
