On Monday I posted a blog on the possible "A Nightmare On Elm Street" reboot, I included a link to a list of upcoming reboots off of IMDB, I did not like that list, so I made a list of movies that should never be rebooted.

    The Princess Bride

In my opinion, what makes this movie great are the performances within the movie.

Most of the special effects were 1980's cheesy, but it does not matter, this is not a movie that can be made better and there is a giant reason why, Andre the Giant.

The entire cast was great, from Cary Elwes, to Fred Savage, and if Hollywood ever even thinks of rebooting this movie, then I have just one thing to say about that.

"My name is Ingo Montoya, you reboot my movie, prepare to die."

    Willow

Before Lord of the Rings, before Harry Potter, there was Willow.

This was one of my favorites growing up and I don't care if the special effects look cheesy or not.

    I love the Brownies!

I am a great and powerful sorcerer!

Although I am 99% sure that Val Kilmer and Warwick Davis would be available for a reboot, I don't want one, besides, there is a sequel to Willow, unfortunately it's a book.

    Labyrinth

Although I am sure that David Bowie and his package would be up for it, I don't think that Jennifer Connelly would be.

Labyrinth is a Jim Henson classic, they don't use puppets like this anymore, I don't think they even use puppets anymore and they don't make movies like this anymore.

    Police Academy

Law Enforcement in America may need a reboot, but the Police Academy movies do not need to be rebooted. As if you could not tell from all the sequels, they can just make another sequel if they want to bring this back.

The Police Academy movies are still a classic, and I kind of wish that the real Police were more like Steve Guttenberg and Bubba Smith.... I love Bubba Smith, Hightower Forever!

    The Monster Squad

This movie was not one of those cases where it was so bad that it was good, this movie was so 1980's, it's gold.

Unless they can recreate everything from the really bad theme song, to the 1980's 'getting ready' montage and all the politically incorrect quotes, references and situations. Then leave this one alone!

    Flight of the Navigator

Only the real nerds of the 1980's will remember this one, and if you do, you would be just as upset as Paul Rubens, Sarah Jessica Parker and me, if they reboot this 1980's classic, that is so classic I tear up just thinking about how freaking classic it is.
