Q-Ruption Battle Of The Bands Finalists Selected [AUDIO]

After close to two months of voting by fans and being judged on musicianship, originality, ability to draw, songwriting, and vocal ability, three local unsigned bands have been selected to perform at the Ernie Ball Battle Of The Bands Friday August 24th at Savannahs in downtown Albany. The winning band will open Q-Ruption, find out who they are.

Q-Ruption is the Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival featuring Shinedown, Godsmack, Papa Roach, Staind, Adelita's Way and many more.. plus one local band from Albany that will battle its way to the stage. It's the biggest rock festival of the summer and will be at Saratoga Performing Arts Center on September 1st.

Three local unsigned bands will battle at Savannahs for the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands, powered by Imagen Records. hosted by the Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show.  There is a wide range of music genre's represented including, rock, metal, alternative and even hip hop.

Each band will perform 25-30 minute sets.  A panel of judges will select a winning band based upon audience reaction, musicianship, originality and showmanship.

The winning band will be announced that night and will then play the stage at Q-Ruption 2012 September 1st at SPAC.  They will also have the chance to play the entire UPROAR Festival in 2013, as well as winning $10,000 in gear, record an EP, a photo shoot, a video and much more.
