With any luck the pub will be back up and running within the next couple of weeks.

If you were out in Albany this weekend and were hoping to grab a drink or throw some darts at the Lionheart Pub then you may have discovered that the lights were out and the doors were locked. Don't worry though according to the signs on the doors the pub is hoping to be back open within the couple of weeks.

Apparently ownership of the pub is reverting back to it's original owners after the current owners defaulted on their loans. According to the Times Union word on the street is that the pub will reopen after the liquor license transfers names.

I'm really hoping that the change in ownership will breathe some new life back into the pub which in my opinion hasn't really been the same since a number of their longtime employees left to open up Lost and Found in the warehouse district.
