Oddest Town Names In The US
You have to flat out understand, 200 years ago when some of these towns were named, people didn't think anything of it. But, ding dong, Texas. Come on!
I saw a list on Thrillest.com put together by Estately and it is a thing of legend. It put together a map of the US and had the weirdest town names on it. Genius. We however in New York don't have an insanely odd town name. Our oddest is Handsome Eddy. Alright, sure I guess if your name is Edward it can be cool. But Big Bottom, Washington, Mormon Bar, California. Just saying. Here is a short list of some of my favorite odd town names.
