We reported a couple weeks ago that there is a facebook group calling for a Pantera reunion featuring the surviving original members of the band and Zakk Wylde on guitar.  Well that group now has over 2,000 members which may actually be changing to mind of one former members mind.  Vinnie Paul Abbott reported to The Metal Den that if the reunion show was going o happen it would be a one time thing.   Vinnie Paul was very vocal before in saying that the reunion show would never happen.  Maybe he is finally ready to patch things up with lead singer Phil Anselmo and do it one more time for Pantera fans.  Vinnie Paul is currently out on tour with his new band HELLYEAH and Phil Anselmo and Pantera Bassist Rex Brown are out touring for their band Down.

It was reported last week that Rob Zombie has been brought in to direct the Motley Crue bio pic The Dirt.  Those claims may have been false.  Tommy Lee told Billboard.com that Zombie was going to direct the film but had to correct his comments.  He told them yesterday that he would love for Rob to direct the film, but nothing is certain as of yet.   The Crue bio pic has been up in the air for years now and it seems like not a whole lot of progress is being made to get it moving.

Former Van Halen vocalist Sammy Hagar has a brand new book coming out Red: My Uncensored Life In Rock, a tell all about his time in Van Halen up until his latest project Chickenfoot.  The book comes out on March 15 where you can pick it up a book store near you.  A brand new 5 minute promotional video has been released talking about the process of making the book and how he got the name "The Red Rocker".
