Most Crime Ridden Cities

There are some dangerous places to live in the USA but which is the one with the highest crime rate? You might want to steer clear.

You hear about high crime rates all the time, and some cities have gotten an unfair reputation based on past records. I would assume a place like Detroit would be at the top of the list but I was surprised to find out that St. Louis is the number one most dangerous city in America. The FBI has compiled a list of the 11 most crime ridden cities in the USA. Thankfully it looks like the Capital Region is in the clear, for now. The numbers are based on the number of crimes per 100,000 Americans. Now they say that the crime rate is down since 1991, but that doesn't mean that we are improving that much. So if you're looking to move in the near future here is a list of places you may want to scratch off the list.
