Military, Nurses, Police and More Can Get Free Admission to Great Escape

In only a couple of weeks, heroes can get free admission to the Lake George Great Escape!

Coming up July 23-29 at the Lake George Great Escape is "Heroes Week," which means that all kinds of heroes from military personnel to police officers to nurses and EMTs get free admission to the park!  All you need is 'occupational identification' which I'm guessing to be a legitimate work badge.  On top of that, any guest of a 'hero' gets admission at a kids price rate.  As part of Heroes Week, the Great Escape is also holding a non-perishable items drive, to help support our own heroes overseas. This is such an awesome thing for both the community and for those who risk their lives every single day, and it's great to see the local recognition!  If you want to see if you qualify for free admission, or find out more about the week's events, head to the official page!
