Military Appreciation Day with Q103 at the Saratoga Race Course

Today was Military Appreciation Day at the Saratoga Race Course, and Q103 was on-site to do some broadcasting and experience the festivities!

For the first of a series of days this summer that Q103 will be at the Saratoga Race Course, we got to experience Military Appreciation Day!  Grandstand admission was free to members and veterans of the United States military, and it was an honor to be among the crowd.  We witnessed brave veterans and active service members get to enjoy themselves at the track, some of which were there in uniform.  Events went on all day long, including performances from the USO Show Troupe and the Racing City Chorus.   Stationed out of the Fourstardave Sports Bar, I got to enjoy the races right on the track, with 60 flat screen tv’s around so I didn’t miss any of the action.  Amidst calling in to Tigman each hour from the Saratoga Race Course, I got to sit down and talk with two NYRA pros and get the scoop on the amazing new seating area- “The Stretch”- and some betting tips.  There are so many great events coming up at the Saratoga Race Course, and you can get all the info through NYRA!  We’ll be at th Saratoga Race Course more throughout August, and looking forward to seeing you there!
