Memorial Day Parades in the Albany Area

Everybody loves a parade. This weekend unofficially kicks off summer and the parade season. Memorial Day we observe all the men and women who served our country and many communities across the Capital Region honor the troops with a special Memorial Day Parade. Find out where they are.

Yesterday the village of Scotia kicked off the first Memorial Day Parade in the area, however if you missed it there are plenty more to catch all weekend.

Thursday May 24th

Rotterdam Memorial Day Parade
Begins at 6:30pm on Curry Road.

Friday May 25th

South Glens Falls Parade
Begins at 6pm on Main Street

Greenwich Parade
Begins at 6pm on Main Street

Stillwater Parade
Begins at 7pm on Hudson Avenue and along Route 4

Saturday May 26th

Village of Ballston Spa

9am at Milton Avenue

Monday May 28th

Downtown Albany Memorial Day Parade

Starts at 9:30 am and steps off at Partridge Street and Central Avenue and continues east on Central to Washington Avenue to North Hawk Street.

Saratoga Springs Memorial Day Parade

This was the parade that was cancelled and starts at 10 am on Broadway at Ellsworth Jones Place and heads south to Congress Park.

Downtown Glens Falls Memorial Day Parade

Starts at 10 am. Parade starts at the Civil War Monument on Bay Street and proceeds north on Glen Street.

Berne-Knox-Westerlo Memorial Day Parade OR Hilltowns Parade

Parade marches along Route 443 and begins at 10 AM in Berne.

Watervliet Memorial Day Parade

The parade kicks off at 10:00 a.m. and proceeds from the Watervliet High School parking lot to 19th Street, east to 2nd Avenue, then south to 16th Street and ends at the Veteran's Memorial Park.

Hoosick Falls Memorial Day Parade

Starts at 10am at the park, Main St.

Castleton Memorial Day Parade

Starts at 10am on Boltwood Ave.

Bolton Memorial Day

Starts at 10am from Rogers Memorial to Veterans Park.

Lansingburgh Memorial Day Parade

The parade route is from 123rd Street and 5th Avenue, South to 115th Street and 5th Avenue.

Bethlehem

Begins at 11:00 a.m. from the Elsmere Fire House, 15 West Poplar Drive, Delmar and will proceed down Elsmere Ave. to Kenwood Ave., Adams Place, Adams St., Delaware Avenue

Warrensburg Memorial Day Parade

Marching down Canada Street, starting at 11:30 am and begins at the high school.

North Greenbush Memorial Day Parade

Starts at 1:30 pm on Steamview Lane. The parade will travel down Marion Avenue to Brookside to Main Avenue.

Corinth Memorial Day Parade

Starts at 6 pm. Parade starts at the corner of Fifth Street & Palmer Avenue, proceeds down Palmer Avenue, right on Main Street, and left on Maple St. to St. Mary's Cemetery.
