The Cure, Mumford and Sons, the Killers and Nine Inch Nails have been confirmed as headliners for Lollapalooza 2013, which takes place in Chicago's Grant Park on Aug. 2-4. The four monsters of alt-rock top a bill featuring dozens of artists, with Phoenix, New Order, the Postal Service and Vampire Weekend among the other top-tiered acts.

Others set for Lollapalooza 2013 include Lana Del Rey, Band of Horses, Hot Chip, Crystal Castles, Imagine Dragons, the National, the Lumineers, Kendrick Lamar, Ellie Goulding, Knife Party, Grizzly Bear,Two Door Cinema Club, Tegan and Sara, Beach House, Cat Power and many, many more. Check out the gathering's complete lineup sorted by day here.

The festival’s entire lineup leaked last week, and the original single-day ticket on-sale date moved up from April 9 to this Wednesday (April 3) because of it. Lollapalooza will put 60,000 single-day tickets on sale Wednesday; 80,000 three-day passes sold out last week at up to $235 per pass. Get complete ticket information here.

Lollapalooza inked a 10-year contract last year with the Chicago Park District that will keep the fest in Grant Park through 2022, and daily capacity was capped at 100,000 as part of the deal. That capacity makes Lollapalooza's daily top attendance larger than any destination festival in North America, including Coachella in Indio, Calif., and Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tenn.
