Local Bands Submit to Play Q-Ruption 2012

The Q103 Q-Ruption 2012 is the Rockstar Energy UPROAR Festival, September 1st at Saratoga Performing Arts Center featuring Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind, Papa Roach, Adelita's Way,  P.O.D, many others  and YOUR band.  We're in search for the best unsigned homegrown Capital Region band to open the biggest rock show this summer and the chance to tour with the UPROAR Festival in 2013.  For more information and to submit your band click more.

If you're in an unsigned band (or know someone who is) and want the opportunity to not only play Q-Ruption 2012, but potentially play the ENTIRE 2013 Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival, record an EP, get new gear and more, then enter the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands powered by Imagen Records and make it possible.

Local bands -  it's time to submit your best song and create a profile to be considered for this amazing opportunity. Once your band has been submitted and profile created then your fans will need to vote you in.  However voting is only a small aspect of winning the Battle of the Bands.

Four bands from the Capital Region will be selected based on musicianship, originality, ability to draw, songwriting, and vocal ability.   There will be a final Battle Of the Bands local showcase event at a to be determined location on August 24th.

Your band will be judged by Jose Mangin from Sirius XM, Zacky Vengeance, guitarist of Avenged Sevenfold, legendary producer/mixer Jay Baumgardner, and music industry veteran Bill McGathy, in collaboration with Q103 judges and the public.

Is your band good enough to be the biggest rock band on the planett? Your band could end up like last year's winners Mindset Evolution who are on all of UPROAR this year.

* All participating bands and crew members must be over the age of 13, have a valid email address and no recording contract within the last 3 years.

One band from each city on the UPROAR Festival Tour will then be entered to win the National Grand Prize.  Play live and open the entire 2013 Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival, record an EP produced by Jay Baumgardner at the world famous NRG studios in Hollywood, CA, $10,000 worth of music gear, professional photo shoot with photographer Lisa Johnson, exclusive editorial feature in Revolver Magazine, music video with video director Strati Hovartos, feature on Loudwire.com, a one year supply of Ernie Ball strings and a one year supply of Rockstar Energy Drink.
