The Knockout Rounds continue this week on NBC's 'The Voice' and we can't wait to find out if one of the Capital Region's own advances in the competition!

It's been a couple of weeks since we saw the Capital Region's own Moriah Formica belt it out on our television screens and really that's a couple weeks too long if you ask me.

In case you are out of the loop the Latham teenager has been a serious contender on season 13 of NBC's 'The Voice'. She blew away the judges during her Blind Audition with her rendition of Heart's 'Crazy On You' causing all four of them to turn their chairs and basically beg her to be on their team. Moriah ultimately chose team Miley which ended up being the only all female team in the history of The Voice (initially, some things have changed since then). Then she moved on to the battle rounds where she had to sing a duet of 'American Woman' by The Guess Who (or Lenny Kravitz I suppose) with one of her teammates and to be honest it was pretty clear by the practice footage that Moriah had this one in the bag. By the end of the Battle Round that proved to be true when Miley declared her the winner of the round.

I had Moriah in the studio just after the Battle Rounds to talk a little bit about well, everything, but I asked her who she was most nervous about having to go up against next. Let me tell you in case you haven't been following along the competition is getting pretty fierce! You can listen to our full convo below if you need a little refresher.

The Knockout Rounds on 'The Voice' resume Monday night at 8pm! I'm really excited to find out who she will be going up against and see what song choice Moriah goes with this time around! Although rock is where her passion lies I know she's got a pretty eclectic taste in music and I have heard her cover other genres and I'm pretty sure there's nothing this girl can't make sound amazing! Let's go #TeamMoriahFormica
