Latest Miracle of Science – The Poop Transplant

Science is a remarkable thing.  The technology today is able to give someone a new heart, limb, lung even a face.  The latest scientific break through?  A poop transplant.  Taking one persons stool, and putting into someone else. 

Never in my life have I heard of such a ridiculous procedure, but this is a very real thing. The man to the left is Jerry Grant and he suffers from a terrible disease called C-Diff. So what exactly is C-Diff?  It's a terrible disease that cause terrible abdominal pain and pretty bad diarrhea up to 15 times a day.

It's such a painful disease that Grant says at times he couldn't even sit down.  So he went through a pretty crazy procedure called a fecal transplant.  C-diff make sit so all the good bacteria in your gut is gone, so in order to restore balance with the force they took some of his wife's poop, and put it inside of him.  Talk about connecting on a whole new level.   Like I said, pretty crazy, but it worked.  Jerry seems fine now.  One thing is for sure, I am not shaking hands with that doctor afterwards.
