It may not even be summer yet, but Kings of Leon have already announced an upcoming fall tour!  The band, who will be playing at SPAC on July 26th this summer, are going to be following up their summer run with a tour featuring mellow rockers Dawes.

I got to see the band once years ago, in 2010 when I lived out in Utah, and I can't lie, I really enjoyed their live show.  Being years ago, they played their older raw-sounding material mixed with new hits, so I'm interested to see what kind of set list this summer tour will bring.  I'm a big fan of their older style music, that brings me back to dive bar memories when I hear it (from "Molly's Chambers" to "Holy Roller Novocaine"), but can't help but enjoy their newer albums with a southern rock feel of it's own at times.

Dates for the upcoming fall tour include:

August 12: Chicago, IL

September 27: Charlotte, NC

September 29: Nashville, TN

October 2: Morrison, CO

October 4: Oklahoma City, OK

October 7: Los Angeles, CA
