Woah, this is crazy sad. I couldn't even imagine.

It started out a weekend like another. Sunday afternoon Kid Rock threw a cook out at his home in Nashville for himself and some friends. As the party was winding down late Sunday night around midnight, Kid Rock's personal assistant took a couple people down his long driveway on an ATV to meet an Uber. During that time it seems that Kid Rock decided to head to bed for the night. However, when he woke up in the morning he noticed that his assistant wasn't in the house. So Kid and a friend of his went out side to look around the property for his assistant. What they found was something no one wants to find after Sunday of fun with friends and family, unfortunately the pair found the assistant lying on the embankment of the long driveway unresponsive. Kid and his friends called emergency services at about 11am Monday morning and it looks like at some point in the night his assistant crashed the ATV, presumably on the way back to the house from dropping of the guests at their Uber.

I feel so bad for all involved. That poor guy on the driveway all night. His family. I couldn't imagine being in Kid's position either having to wake up and find your friend like that. Kid Rock released a statement via his website regarding his friend that said:

I am beyond devastated to report that my personal assistant Mike Sacha passed away today in an ATV accident here in Nashville. He was a member of our family and one of the greatest young men I have ever had the pleasure to not only work with, but also to become friends with. I know I speak for us all in sharing my deepest condolences to his family. I can not imagine how they must feel. Myself, the band, our family, friends and co-workers are devastated over this loss. We were supposed to be back in Michigan today, but I am going to stay here with Mike until I can bring him home to his family. We've already been contacted by the press asking if it was me who was in the accident, so I want to stop any rumors before they spread. I’m asking everyone to please respect our and his families' privacy in this difficult time. RIP Mike. We will never forget you, my friend.

- Kid Rock
