It’s Oktoberfest on Saturday in Glenville

The first weekend of October can only mean one thing, time to drink German beer at Oktoberfest! Richmor Aviation at the Schenectady County Airport in Glenville is being transformed into Munich Germany on Saturday from noon to 9pm, rain or shine.   Experience authentic German culture, music and of course BEER. The best part it's all free to attend.

Looking for a cool local fall event this weekend?  Then bring the whole family to Oktoberfest in Glenville.  Try authentic German food and beer as well as American food provided by 5th and 50 Pizzeria, Flightline Pub, Anegelo's Tavolo, and Jumpin Jacks.

Walk among the crafters, see a car cruise in as well as many activities for the kids including bounces, face painting, miniature golf and laser tag.

There will be three bands will be playing inside the hangar playing traditional German music while three bands will be outside playing traditional rock music.

About 4000 people attended last years event and this year organizers are hoping for a bigger and better turnout as there truly is something for everyone.

Oktoberfest is organized by the Glenville Small Business and Professional Association, Key Bank, Sunmark Credit Union, Solid Surface Craftsman, Mohawk Honda and Richmor Aviation.
