It’s Official: Gigantour 2012 Coming To Albany

It's official: Two iconoclastic bands of hard rock and metal are touring together and will be coming to the Capital Region as part of Gigantour.  Megedeth, Motorhead, with special guests Volbeat and Lacuna Coil will be at the Glens Falls Civic Center on February 1st.

Speculation the tour would be coming when Volbeat lead singer Michael Poulsen made a call to Q103 telling us that the show would be in town on February 1st.

Now it's official and tickets go on sale November 4th at the Glens Falls Civic Center Box Office, on line at www.glensfallscc.com or charge by phone at 855-GFCC-TIX.   Produced by SLP Concerts.

Also fitting that today is the announcement of Gigantour 2012 as Megadeth's 13th studio album "TH1RT3EN" on Roadrunner Records  is out in stores today.  The new album was recorded at the band's own Vic's Garage studio in California with original bassist Dave Ellefson - his first studio appearance with the band in a decade and marks the first time the band has worked with producer Johnny K.
