Is the Lake George Howard Johnson’s, the Last in the USA, About to Close?

Looks like Lake George's Howard Johnson's, the last remaining HoJo in the country, future is not looking too bright.

There is only one Howard Johnson's left in the entire U S of A and it happens to be located right here in the Capital Region. Actually it's located in beautiful Lake George and according to WNYT it appears that the property is looking to cash in on the land that the last remaining HoJo's sits on because he has put the parcel up for sale.

There have been reports that the restaurant may be closed for good already although the property owner say that he believes they are just operator is running off season hours. However, a phone number listed for the restaurant was out of service when they called.

Oh no! Will you be sad if the last remaining Howard Johnson's not only in the Capital Region but in the entire country closes up shop?
