Huge BBQ Competition Comes to Troy This Weekend!

Get ready to enjoy some delicious BBQ this weekend in Troy!

In a day of delicious food competitions, the 11th annual Troy Pig Out is back this weekend! Happening Saturday, the 14th, the Troy Pig Out has not just BBQ competitions, but also a hot dog eating contest and cornhole tournament too. Prizes are going out to lots of different food categories, from best BBQ chicken to best pulled pork, and even mayor’s choice. You can get in on the food fun from 10 am - 9 pm at Riverfront Park this Saturday in Troy.  To me, this sounds like one of the ultimate summer events. I mean, summer’s all about grilling right?  And cornhole, hotdogs, and competitions. It’s got everything going on at once, all in a fun day right here in the Capital District! Plus, with our own hot dog eating competition, it’s a great place to start practicing to be the next Joey Chestnut.
