Q103 and The Salvation Army of Schenectady County are teaming up this holiday season to help provide a turkey dinner for those who are unable to do so for themselves this year through Meals on Wheels.

Sometimes during the holidays we find ourselves with excess. I know I have some family members that receive a free turkey from work every year and since we generally spend our holiday together we end up with more turkeys than we can eat. If you happen to find yourself in a similar situation or perhaps you would just like to help a few people who are unable to fend for themselves this holiday season please consider donating to our Turkey Drive Q103 and The Salvation Army of Schenectady County is holding for Meals on Wheels this Thanksgiving?

You can donate a turkey right now by dropping it off at The Salvation Army building at 222 Lafayette Street or you can drop it off during our Turkey Drive Day that we will be holding on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the following Price Chopper locations in Schenectady County: Altamont Avenue, Eastern Parkway, Glenville, and Niskayuna.

Q103 will be hanging out at the store at 175 Altamont Avenue all day.

Thank you in advance for your donation!
