Recently a video of an Albany police officer harassing a street performer has gone viral, the video is 43 seconds long and it captures how the police can twist a situation to their advantage.

Obviously, the street performer was doing absolutely nothing wrong, then again I did not get a chance to hear him play, and the street performer and woman filming the altercation were not being very aggressive.

Getting off your bike and grabbing someones camera is kind of aggressive though.

Modern technology and social media as helped expose the police abusing their power, and this incident is just one of so many.

I've been harassed by the police before.

I was driving through Castleton with my wife, on my way home from visiting my cousin, when I was pulled over by a young Castleton police officer, who accused me of drinking while driving.

After he could not prove that I had been drinking, he accused me of throwing drugs out the window when he had pulled me over, but my hands never left the wheel of the car and was so confused by his accusation that he laughed at me. Then he told me that if anything came up when he ran my idea, that he was going to "nail me."

When nothing came up and the young officer returned, he threw my license at me and said "Go the F### home, A##H###."

I was once pulled over in Latham, for fitting the description of a wanted man, and even after the police officer ran my I.D. I was still threatened by the officer who stuck his finger in my face and said "If I find out that you're heading to Cohoes, we're going get you."

But those are just my stories, what's yours?
