Harry Potter – BJ’s Movie Pick

It is a weekend for geeks all across this great nation.  The final chapter in the Harry Potter saga hit's theaters and you can bet that this nerd will be there to check it out.

Put on your sorting hat and grab the Gryffindor scarf because it is time to watch a saga that began nearly a decade ago come to an exciting and dramatic conclusion. I literally have chills thinking about it.  Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 opens up this weekend and you can bet that it will blow all competition out of the water.  I know for a fact that Crossgates showed it at midnight on all 13 screens and every single one of them was sold out.  This is going to be big.

Now let me be clear, I have not read any of these books, but I am a fan of the films.  Maybe I'll be inspired to pick up the collection and see how they all connect.  I can't wait to see how things go in this final movie though.  They have gotten progressively darker in theme as they go on and in this one we already know that more people will die.

It will be work getting to see this if you don't already have tickets because these fans are serious.  People have been pre-ordering tickets for months so you may want to try a theater off the beaten path, or you may have to wait.
