Harrison Ford had a little incident at John Wayne Airport in California. He was bringing his private plane in for a landing, and he got cleared for one of the runways. But instead, he landed on a taxiway that runs parallel to the runway, buzzing right over a Boeing 737 that was waiting to take off with 110 passengers on board.

Sources say Ford was even recorded by air traffic control saying, "Was that airliner meant to be underneath me?"

Landing on a taxiway is a violation of FAA rules, and they're investigating.  If there's punishment, it could range from a warning letter to a suspension of his license.

Harrison is regarded as an excellent pilot, although he's had a few scary incidents, including a pretty bad crash in Santa Monica in 2015. He had to make an emergency landing on a golf course after the engine quit on the World War II-era plane he was flying.  He suffered a broken pelvis and ankle, as well as other injuries.
