According to this article Harley-Davidson is voluntarily recalling approximately 57,138 motorcycles shipped worldwide! The recall is apparently due to the fact that the bikes may have an improperly installed clamp on the oil cooling system. Which could cause the oil line to become detached, resulting in a sudden loss of engine oil. If this happens the oil could then spill onto the back tire which, as you could imagine, could put you in a very dangerous predicament and possibly cause you to loose control of your bike and no one wants that to happen!

I know with all this rain that has been falling from the sky it's hard to believe but this is the time of year the bikes come out and we want to make sure that all our biker friends are safe. Especially with everyone getting ready to head to Americade this week!

So if you own a 2017 Electra Glide, Road Glide, Road King or Street Glide motorcycle that was built in the U.S. between July 2, 2016 and May 9, 2017 you need to contact your Harley Davidson dealer immediately and make sure you are taken care of and riding safe!
