Guilderland Police Make Arrest in Crossgates Mall Shooting

After asking for the public's help over the weekend the Guilderland Police Department has announced that an arrest has been made in connection with the Crossgates Mall Shooting.

Multiple news sources are reporting that the Guilderland Police Department have made an arrest in connection with the shooting Saturday Afternoon at Crossgates Mall in Albany.

Not a whole lot is certain about the entire incident as of yet but it appears that it was the result of an altercation between two individuals in front of the Apple store around 2:30pm Saturday afternoon. The entire mall was evacuated and went into lock down as police swept store by store. According to the TU the "two people detained earlier were not involved in the incident".

Police have a press conference scheduled for 4:30pm to give an update on the situation.

As we reported earlier on of our own was actually in the mall at the time of the incident waiting for an autograph signing by Highly Suspect who played a show later that evening at Upstate Concert Hall.
