Thanksgiving is coming up in just a couple of days and I know you may have got a lot of your shopping in ahead of time. If you or your family happens to be allergic to milk or soy and you planned on serving store bought gravy you might want to check your labels right NOW!

According to News10 Heinz is recalling 500 cases of 'Heinz HomeStyle Bistro Au Jus Gravy' because

Some of the jars may be mislabeled as Heinz Pork Gravy and therefore not labeled as containing milk and soy.

Apparently if consumed by people who have an allergy or sensitivity to milk or soy they could have a serious or potentially deadly allergic reaction to the gravy and no one wants that!

Fortunately there doesn't seem to be any reports of illness due to the mislabeling as of yet. However Heinz is urging customers to not eat the product and instead return it to your point of purchase for a full refund.

If you have an questions regarding the recall you can call the company at 1-866-572-3808 Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern or you can click HERE for more details.
