Today (Tuesday, March 8) is National Pancake Day! I mean who doesn't love a delicious stack of warm buttermilk pancakes? You could literally have pancakes for breakfast, lunch, or dinner if you really wanted to.

Today, all day long, IHOP is serving free short stacks of pancakes form 7am to 7pm and they're doing it to help out a good cause too! According to the Times Union, for every short stack of pancakes served today, IHOP guests may make a voluntary donation to the Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center.

Apparently since IHOP started it's National Pancake Day fundraising the restaurant has raised somewhere in the vicinity of $20 million for local charities in the communities they serve, specifically Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

So do it for the kids man! Get on out and grub it down on some delicious pancakes and don't forget to make a generous donation for the children right here in our community who could benefit from some life saving treatments, programs, &/or equipment offered here in Albany. Or just do it for the LOVE of PANCAKES!
