There are a number of things that can be considered 'troublesome' in communities.  Bullying, increased crime, and the Ice Cream Man?  That's the case in Malta.

If there is something going on, people will find a way to complain about it.  For as long as I can remember, one of the familiar sounds of summer was the Ice Cream man.  For the Albany area, this honor goes to Mr. Ding-a-Ling, who has been serving Albany and it's surrounding areas for nearly 40 years.

There is a first time for everything, as a Malta resident has complained that the music coming from the Ice Cream truck is too loud.  Boo hoo.  Her complaint was that her son had finally laid down for a nap, and the Ice Cream trucks music woke him up.  Now the good people over at Mr. Ding-a-Ling took the high road, and agreed to turn down the music in her neighborhood.

So kids,if you are in Malta, and on this particular street, you'll have to keep your eyes open to catch the ice cream man this summer.  What's next?  Asking if they can end the movies at the Drive-In earlier because the lights are too bright?
