Happy Birthday today (May 13) to Buckethead. The one time Guns N’ Roses lead guitarist is 47.

Known to wear a KFC bucket on his head with a orange sticker reading Funeral Buckethead played with Guns N’ Roses from 2000-2004 and recorded with the band on their Chinese Democracy album. He also appeared with the band at the MTV Video Music Awards  and parts of the Chinese Democracy Tour. Buckethead left Guns N’ Roses in March 2004. He has received critical acclaim as a guitarist. Outside of his work with Guns N' Roses, he has released 264 studio albums and has recorded with a variety of high-profile artists. He's also written and recorded material for major motion pictures.
