Rob Zombie rose to fame in the early 90’s with his band White Zombie. The band’s third album, La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Volume One, was certified multi-platinum in 1993 with the strength of the lead single “Thunder kiss ’65”. Their final studio album, Astro Creep: 2000 , was released in 1995 and became their first top 10 album on the Billboard 200 featuring the single “More Human than Human”. Zombie has since established himself as a solo artist, film director, screenwriter, and producer. He has five solo studio albums under his belt.
2016 saw the release of a new Rob Zombie slasher film called 31 and a new studio album entitled The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser was released. Zombie also played a great show at The Palace in Albany in Sept. of 2016 and we got a chance to chat with him before the show. Check out highlights of the interview below from The Metal Box.
