Dog Trapped in Hot Car Rescued by Facebook Vigilantes [Video]

You may use social media to check up on people, or even to post statuses about yourself.

But did you know that it could be used to save an animal's life that's in need of immediate help?

A woman at a Houston area water park's parking lot noticed a dog that was sitting in a locked SUV for a couple hours. She decided to post pics of the dog to Facebook.

What happened next was pretty amazing, KPRC-TV reports.

Multiple people grabbed things that could be used to break the dog out of the SUV and drove to where the dog was located. Eventually, a worker from the water park was able to fit his hand through the window and unlock the SUV to get the dog out. The idiot owner of the dog was arrested a little later on criminal animal cruelty charges.
