Former Guns N Roses Rocker Looking For New Band Mates [VIDEO]

If you sing or play guitar, here’s your chance to go on the road and play some G n R tunes. Unfortunately, it’s not Slash who’s looking for a singer or guitarist. It’s Steven Adler of Adler’s Appetite. I couldn’t find a licensed picture of Adler so I grabbed this cool photo of Slash with Michael Jackson to rope you in for this one. But hey, a gig’s a gig and it would sure beat working a regular job.

Adler needs a guitarist and a singer for which he says that’d he like to have some sort of American Idol auditions for. I say you just send him a Youtube video of yourself to Twitter.com/StevenAdlerSite. Seriously, if Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black can do it, why can’t you?

I don’t what I was doing in 1995, but it wasn’t watching Slash and MJ perform together, so after seeing that picture I needed to find a clip of the performance. It’s from the MTV Video Music Awards. It’s kind of cool because they were both really big stars, but it doesn’t really make any sense as Slash just comes out and does what it mostly a stand alone guitar solo and doesn’t really play along with Jackson at all. It’s like two completely different things that have nothing to do with one another happening on the same stage for no apparent reason except to put two big stars together. It’s still kind of cool though.
