Ahh, the 4th of July. Lights, bangs and pops lead way to shenanigans in downtown Albany.

News10 is reporting that a flash grenade was thrown at a firetruck reporting to an EMS call Friday.

Now, and for the record, the 'flash grenade' in question could have been an M-80 but a couple firefighters had to be taken to Albany Med with hearing problems.

For the record, the incident took place at Morton Avenue and Hawk Street.

And this my friends is why we can't have nice things!
