Saturday marks the 137th running of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in Louisville Kentucky.  Two female trainers and one female jockey have the chance to break down the gender barrier and win the "Run For The Roses".

In the past 136 races, only 14 female trainers have saddled up a horse to run and only 5 jockeys have rode in the Kentucky Derby. This year, there are three possible females that can leave their mark - Kathy Ritvo, Kathleen O'Donnell or jockey Rosie Napravnik.

Two trainers, Kathy Ritvo will saddle up Mucho Macho Man and Kathleen O'Donnell will saddle up 50-1 long shot Watch Me Go, while 23-year-old Rosie Napravnik, will be riding a colt named Pants on Fire.  She has already left her mark on the male-dominated sport since getting her jockey's license in 2005.  She won last month's Louisiana Derby with Pants On Fire.

With Uncle Mo scratched from this years race, Pants On Fire with Napravnik in the saddle certainly has a chance!  Post time Saturday at 6:24pm.
