Roughly 30 games into the MLB season and you're still wondering why you are sitting in the basement of your fantasy league.  Ol' Monte feels your pain.  Or perhaps you're the lucky one holding the top spot thus far and you don't want to tumble from the mountain.  No matter where you are in the standings, I have a few under the radar players that may help you out this week.

Jason Bourgeois.  Who!?  Exactly.  Bourgeois has recently been roaming RF for the Astros.  I know, the 13-19 Astros.  To top that off, he's only started seven games this season.  Have you see him the last week though?  Over the last week, Bourgeois has played six games and has 13 hits! He also has 12 stolen bases this year, one less than the MLB leader.  Bourgeois is only owned in 15% of the leagues in Yahoo.  He might not you lead you to the promise land but he may raise your average and stolen bases this week if you need a hole filled.

Mike Aviles, short stop for the Royals. Over the last six games this past week, Aviles has 10 hits and nine RBI!  The season stats may not jump off the page: .278 and five homers, but compared to the eight dingers he had last season in 110 games, this year looks to be a decent campaign.  You might want to take a flyer on him this week.

Josh Tomlin.  Ummm, has anyone else noticed that the Indians are 21-10? How about this fella?  Tomlin is 4-1 with a 2.43 ERA and a .81 WHIP.  Not quite sure how he's only owned in 51% of the Yahoo leagues. I believe he'll get two starts this week as well - a rough matchup against David Price but then next Sunday he'll see Seattle.  Snatch 'em up!

Brandon Morrow - not really under the radar sitting atop the Blue Jays hill but he missed some time this year. He's only pitched 17.1 innings thus far so you may get lucky on the waiver wire.  He already has 23 strike outs and K'ed 178 batters last year.  If you can find him and his 3.06 ERA on the waivers, he has two starts against sub .500 teams this week in Detroit and the Twins.
